Building a winning football team - based on a once great NFL franchise - a poem.
Onto that field, they trot,
With uniforms smoking hot.
Showing every play they've got,
But gridiron greats, they're not...

Dug firmly in both trenches,
The rain-soaked weather drenches,
As players leave their benches
And loathe their losing stenches.

But a champion's winning way
Seems billions of miles away.
So headed into Draft day,
They look to pounce, not play!

To build a glorious team
Is quite their coach's dream;
But fans can surely seem -
Their hopes stretched far so deem!
