Written on my way to work
8:23 am on Thursday, 29th January. It's exactly 59 minutes after I arose. I am yawning and still feel sleep in my lids as I sit in this Nissan van , impatiently watching the driver's fruitless efforts to maneuver the snail's pace traffic along Waiyaki way.
The stereo is tuned in to Classic 105 fm and, like always, I dread to listen to today's debate topic. Mary's J Blige's Each Tear plays after Maina Kageni and Mwalimu King'ang'i opened the phone lines for listener's to give their testimonies on hating their marriage partners to the point they don't to them.
In part with having no partner, my issue with it is it is reminiscent of workmates I hate at my workplace, either for failing to pay or for irritating gestures they give me.
One can't act divine to oneself. So one accepts what defines one's perspectives.
