A child's amazing pinpoint observation.
Her Bum’s in front, said Jimmy Kay
which caused our heads to turn one day
and giggle with unbridled glee
at his take on anatomy
of our new baby, Ellie Mae.

I saw aunt Jean blush right away
as we changed Ellie where she lay.
This prompted Jimmy Kay to say,
Her bum’s in front.

It was, of course, a sharp display
of innocent naiveté,*
yet accurate as it could be
pursuant to what he did see.
Amazed by Jimmy’s repartee:²
Her bum’s in front.
