how the schools appear without children
Of the silent corridors:

A beaming face now peeping out
a giggle escaping now and then
whispering eyes telling tales
a conspicuous uproar on some trivia
some hurrying feet just rushing by
a stifled smile of the birthday boy
precious innocence wishing acquiescence
an all pervasive joy bustling unbound
all such wealth is away from me
the corridors forlorn and mute
wherefore should I my senses lend
the summer break should end.
