Love is a battlefield, that's why Cupid carries a bow
Vision

A vision of tomorrow
If tomorrow ever comes
Where luck favours the brave
And the stupid all the same

In self inflicted sorrow
Piled on in sums
It’s winning hands we crave
In this stupid cupid’s game

The rules we manufacture
Insecurity and doubt
Narcissistic navel gazing
In our labyrinthine schemes

Realities that fracture
Shot patterns spreading out
Eyes wide open glazing
At these architecture dreams

Crumbling to debris
Before our very eyes
Best laid plans of mice and men
Baited by life’s traps

The heart wants what the mind sees
On the heart, the mind relies
Pray the bond’s not broken
Leaves you slipping through the gaps

Through cracks that show in wartime
In the dreamscapes of our mind
They swallow structures old and new
Both whole and parts of sums

Restructured in peacetime
In the debris you might find
A future beating strong and true
If tomorrow ever comes
