This poem is about a story of a woman who was raped, but no one did any justice for her.
Son Nguyen- The Meadow and My Grief

On the meadow of sorrow, lay my comatose body
Under the maple tree of impurity.
Tainted my white dress, the sins it poured.
The basket of rotten apples, I cannot eat anymore.

My enfeebled body, impured by thy lustful soul,
My purity was wasted by a filthy hound.
Scouted the night, like an untamed beast.
Here lies an innocence deer, lest thou come to feast.

My boudoir of tranquility, thou penetrated.
Inquired the King, "Where art shame thine?"
See no evil, the bowl of tears I drowned.
My gleaming eyes, now fouled with immoral compounds.

The angle of death, she seated herself on the windowsill.
She enlightened me, "No more blood to be spilled"
The knife of destiny, I held dear in my hands
The end of my precious life, I took the stand.

Treked my way to the meadow, I grieved,
With a golden box filled with stones, I carried.
The fairy of the wind blew her gust at me.
The raven with a cherry, an omen thou seest?

My last vow on earth, I declared,
Within thy sleep, thou shalt bear
The wrath of a banshee, art thou ready?
Thy sin thou hast committed, no need to flee.

My despicable heart, the knife of destiny penetrated,
Guided me to Neverland, its door opened.
No shame I endured, only my innocence,
Until thy death is agonizingly forbidden.
