Don't we all have those dreams we don't really want to wake up from?
I look into your pretty eyes
And joy is what I feel
But deep inside, I sadly know
That none of this is real

You wrap your arms around me
I can feel you breathe
In my ear, I hear your voice
It tells me: “Please don’t leave”

It’s real for now, and that’s what counts
But soon, this thing will end
And once it ends, the two of us
Will be nothing more than friends

Your grip is slowly loosening
You slowly fade away
The scene turns white and I wake up
To such a sunny day

I once was told that nightmares are
Those dreams that make you bawl
If that’s the case, then this nice dream
Is the worst nightmare of all
