Why do you want to hurt us? You are supposed to keep us safe?
Dear that One Damn Piece of Sidewalk that is Slightly Higher than the rest of it,

Why do you try and trip everyone who walks over you? We are good people. We must walk on you to reach our destination. Hurting people won’t make anything better. Sometimes it’s good for a laugh but you’re a piece of concrete so you have no need to laugh. Why can’t you be like the rest of the sidewalk, Flat and welcoming? You could be saving people from being hit by cars instead of embarrassing us when we trip over you in front of our friends? I have had enough stubbed toes. Enough is enough. Next time I trip I'm calling the County.

Emotional & injured,

Juliet
