A poetic example of a spirit insulted at the words and actions of a ghost hunter
I watch you, you know, as you wander about
"SHOW YOURSELF SPIRIT!" I hear you shout
Not likely, I think, no chance of that lady!
I ain't nuts, but I reckon you're a bit crazy
What's all this stuff? Candles and bells!
A sudden little noise. Gosh! Like a banshee you yell
Poor little mouse, he's just searching for food.
You didn't half scare him well and good
Oh! Look! Here comes a table with letters and a glass set upon
Good grief! Will you please stop yelling "COME ON...COME ON!"
Are you speaking to me? I am rather perplexed.
I do believe you are...now I'm feeling quite vexed
I think you should leave, I don't want you to stay
What on earth do you mean by...come out and play?
I really must go now, only popped in for a look
However, good common sense you have forsook
So lady! You carry on talking into thin air
On your behalf meanwhile, I'll say a prayer
For I judge you need help, truly I do
I have no idea who you think you're talking to
Do you?
