I wrote this poem when I was dealing with a dark day of depression.
To tell someone
you want to die,

Brings with it
a question of why,

Say the pain
is too much to bare,

Watch them shy
away in fear,

Most will stumble
over such a thought,

Yet most of us wonder
why we were brought,

To this existence
a life, a time,

Of constant reminders
and our wishes to die,

And as I write this
tears flow from my eyes,

Cause I can only ponder
what's in your minds,

No, I'm not crazy
or even shy,

To discuss the matter
of which I can not hide,

This pain is no longer
a burden to be denied,

So heed my words
and remember well,

Just because I smile
don't mean I live free of hell.
