The mistakes of the past will always return to haunt you. Pass on your knowledge.
With no where to go,
And no place to hide,
He decided to believe his own lies,
So his thoughts became words,
And his words to actions,
His true self lost in all the distractions.

He didn't know, for no one told him,
How difficult he was making his life,
Forever and ever after that moment,
A journey filled only with strife.

Now he sits in his room alone,
Regretting his very being,
Wondering what if and why it was this way?
To the grave he took this ponderance,
But without the chance to say,
I tried.
