Something I wrote years ago. It's nice to archive these things
As of late I've had the urge to ride the bus
to the last stop
not because I have any reason to
but because I want to see what the
end of the world
looks like.
What landscape exists outside
the structured
layout of the safe line
of interconnected societies?
What feral world could
be conceived and sustained
without this staple of life--
the bus line?
Undoubtedly one world teaming
with gray masses of
matter floating along a sandy ground:
the residue of our disjointed dreams
and the end of everything

Our vision ends with the last bus stop.
