Life is defined by the dance between good and bad. It's through one that the other exists.
What’s a life but pains and pleasures?
Memories to reminisce,
All the tears, joys beyond measure,
Each experience dearly missed,

A heart that meets a mate to grow,
To play and sing its time away,
Then ripped apart and filled with woe,
Enjoying scars that never fade,

A child that dreams and hopes for change,
A chase after that sight they’d seen,
Then through walls built by man, they’re chained,
Forgetting what their dreams had been,

It’s a tie to understand,
The dance of happiness and grief,
That knits the fabric stretch of man,
In purity or not, deceived,

It’s a marriage, ever after,
Or so yes it really seems,
When grooms raise hands at wives’ fake laughter,
And temptation’s dedication leans,

I am no worthy judge of fates,
Not one to point and squirm and squeal,
But I’m not blind to all the hate,
In which love’s fate is grimly sealed.
