A tribute to all Dads for Father's Day.
I open my locket
What do I see
What do I feel.

I see a handsome man in a Top Hat.
I see a beautiful woman wearing a blue dress.
I feel the love they shared.

I smile. I remember their special moments together.
These are not images.
These are memories.

The band plays a Sinatra favorite.
Holding her around her slim waist.
They dance.

Bodies swaying to music.
He plants a small kiss on her cheek.
She blushes.

He her true love and eyes.
Eyes leading her through a life of happiness and serenity.
Her days and nights dark
His love for her everlasting
Her love for him never-ending.
Together they walk arm in arm never parting.

I close my locket.
Memories fading.
Not forgotten.
