rough draft to a poem
I want to be your favorite place to go
when you’ve had a bad or good day.
I want to be able to argue and know
no matter what I've said you'll stay.

I want to see the light in your eyes
flicker in the morning when you wake.
And if the sun doesn't rise I still know
you were always worth the wait.
