Based on a scary situation - a non-rhyming poem.
A pitch-black, dimly-lit intersection,
On the way to some unfamiliar nighttime destination
Or gathering -
You pause at a signal light,
Trying to get your bearings.
You proceed to make a wide
And veering left turn,
But accidentally cross into the wrong lane,
Facing oncoming traffic.
Fortunately, no other vehicles are approaching
And you promptly right your mistake,
Reversing course and steering
Into the appropriate lane of travel.
Once again, you have learned
A very logical and rational life lesson:
Proceed with care and caution
And always remain calm;
For fear produces calamity, and the absence of it
Is the greatest medicine known to all...
