Man's fatal flaw is perspective
So many beautiful glittered specs in the sky to bask in the glory of;
Standing bright, mighty. Proud.
But no, it is not those that have won the test of time, that win the battle for our attention;
It is those plummeted beneath their thrones above the clouds,
Enjoying their final seconds of fame as they sift through a lifetime in a streak of white.
Those are the fallen heroes of our admiration.
It is simply human nature to dwell on the temporary,
On the obsolete seconds away from destruction,
Failure. Disappearance.
It is that of which we have none that we seek
When there is a sky so generous with its beauty, uncountable
Unimaginable, so complex our brain reduces it to interrupted darkness-
It is still that mere millisecond of coincidental observation that stills our thoughts.
