People tell me daily, its a new day, and the sun is shinning, but what if its really not?

The sun is gone
Where did it go
I don’t know
As to why
Equally
I’m ignorant
There are
No clouds
Only blue
Only truth
At least
I’ll assume
The is no light
Just darkness
Just fright
Those close
Those who see
Or should it be
Don’t
The ones
Like me
Also know
And understand
That never
Ever again
Will there be
Illumination
Regardless of time
Despite all that’s fine
For others unlike us
There will be
Just this
Perennial blackness
Nothingness not sparred
We are meant to see
And to understand
Even if
Presently we can’t
What it means
For there
To never again
Be light
The sun is gone
No longer
Does it shine
Regardless of time
There sky is blue
For those
Who don’t know
For all else
Those like me
It’s absolute
Blackness and truth
We could fight it
We could build fires
Burn everything away
But in the end
After all is burned
After all is wasted
There will be nothing
Except for the same
Unalterable darkness
The sun is gone
It did not fall
It did not explode
But rather
It floated away
Off into the blueness
Of what we
Can no longer see
There are others
Those unlike us
For them I’ll assume
That it’s still there
In a sky
That because
Of such blackness
We
Those few like me
Can no longer see
The sun is gone…
