A Poem about the trials of raising a child B-item: {2046885}
"Caveat Emptor" read the sign above the crib
As the Revaliers signed the contract with a pointed nib

They couldn't imagine why the warning was there
A sweet little baby without a care.

Then the girl turned three and OH what a tongue!
Answering back, even so young

As the years flew by they tried to maintain control
but before they knew it, her eyes she did roll

One day they came home to find the place a wreck
They feared the worst and the safe they did check

Sure enough the safe was bare
they realized they hadn't been aware

that money alone is not enough to raise a child
It takes love and patience or else they run wild

They both learned a lesson that day
and they hoped eventually, she would come home to stay.
