it's about a message to loved ones of those who have passed on x
My time had come I was nearing the end,
When someone came and took my hand
Walk with me the figure pleaded
A halo shone around my new friend
And his gesture and words I heeded
I started walking down the path
Without feeling the illness's wrath.

My fear and pain abandoned me
I turned around and I could see
My loved ones sobbing heavily
I asked my new friend to give them a sign
And tell them all I'm now just fine
He looked at me smiled and said
Your light shone brighter than before
Once you'd rested your weary head
Your soul is free for evermore.

You will visit in their dreams
A passing isn't as it seems
It's not goodbye or the end
The bond that ties your love won't break or bend
You will be remembered as you were
When you were healthy and life passed in a blur
The laughter the smiles the whys and cries
And in their hearts you'll always stay
With that my new friend walked away.

I put my arms around my family
Kissed them all and held them tight
And whispered in their ears goodnight
My time and suffering could not go on
But my love for you all will burn so strong
I had to go, I couldn't stay
I'm no longer poorly
Please don't remember me that way.
