O beloved.
How eager I am to tell you this.
Tomorrow,
O beloved, tomorrow,

I have decided that we shall travel
and leave a concrete mark wherever we tread.
The water will no longer
forget our names.
The wind will finally listen to us.

And we will see our eyes age
throughout time and
our love will wither not.

And if you silently complain to me
that you are homesick
then I will pull your hand
and place your palms against my chest
and remind you that this
is your homeland.

Our love,
sincere in breath
and firm in foot.

"To where shall we journey?"

To where our love came from.

The Eternal One.
