A free verse poem about an island
If I were on a deserted island
If I lived there by myself
I would probably be fishing every day
Maybe not because the fish would not bite anyway
So I just sit and watch the tide
My rod and reel would be dragged away
By the fish that were not biting anyway!

With my luck my vacation would be cut short
Some cannibal would have me for lunch
Or to some office I would report
To escape the hungry bunch!

I do not know which would be worse
Being eaten or going back to work!
