Dawn~

Dawn, the bright angel of morning
Slithers like a sneaky cat over the shoulders of mountains
She bestows to the heavens rich delicacies of rosy streaks
Making the youthful sky a spectacle
She brushes it with intense shades of ruby, lemon, sapphire, magenta
Turning it from a scintillating blackboard into a visual feast
With her arrival, our earthly sanctuary of grace and peace is complete
Lethargic Moon has retired to her chambers
from an uneventful night before Dawn takes over.
And soon, Dawn meets her protege who will be born again
Rising from the billows of cottony clouds
Beyond the pine greenery appears the struggling Orange in the east
A determined, furious ball of temper
heaving itself above the fleshy cleavage of the Rockies
until his glorious illumination is unveiled---rebirth at its most splendid debut;
an occurrence, though repeated for an eternity, is still a wonderous act.
An act of performance, of determination, of loyalty to his Teacher of Light.
Through the mists of Neverland towards the fields of dreams
Dawn, the lady of a new beginning, touches you wherever you are
She laces her pretty strands of colorful ribbons that gently wrap your soul
Hopefully inspiring you to blanket your own world with beauty, poise, and a renewed sense of purpose...
