Recently my Grandma has had a relapse in cancer - I wrote this for her.
She's older now
She fights to hold her head above the tide
Not just for life -- not just for air
Nor some desperate need for what is right and fair
But to savor every moment by your side
To show you that the sun will rise
The sun will
              fall
Life will come and go for all
But it's not about hiding from the thunder
It's who you'll dance with in the rain
It's not always joy and wonder
It's learning to deal with pain
