Another piece I wrote about the state of today.
Look around and you will see,
a city riddled in death and poverty.
Hold the people back, and this is what ensues,
poor juveniles begging for shoes.

There are whores on the corner, looking for a fix,
men refuse to give respect, and refer to them as chicks.
This is a city, one that many must roam,
It makes you wonder why we still call this place home.

You can repel the sad thoughts that this city will bring,
Just sit there and act like you don't see a thing.
However, That would be insulting so please refrain,
can't you see these people are already in enough pain?

Let them work, let them eat,
Get them back on their feet!
Sadly, that would mean the end of corporate corruption,
and politicians won't be able to wet their beaks.

This is what happens, when you give money away,
to people that don't know how to work a single day.
You drive jobs away and hurt the poor,
can't you see they can't take anymore?

This city needs help, and you say "shut up!"
How can you watch a child not be able to fill his cup?
You killed capitalism, and all that it brought,
Now these people live in corporatist distraught

I apologize for this long hourly delay,
I was just complaining about Another Day.
