In general, just tired of all the hate.
Does it really matter -
the color of my skin?
How can I be judged
for other people's sins?

Does it really matter -
which God I choose to love?
When I pray at night
do you know whom I speak of?

Does it really matter -
that I look the other way?
When you call me hateful things
and I don't know what to say?

Does it really matter -
the ones who stand by me?
Who speak up, step out
And make the others see?

Does it really matter,
that I ask you to defend -
The injustice in this world,
and to just call me, friend?
