Descriptive poem of how I do things that most of us take for granted
From my heart
The spirals fount
Upwards into my mouth
Rolling around forming
Sound reverberating outwards
This is how I speak

Spinning thoughts
Imagination grows
Auto responses
Pen to paper
This is how I write

Looking upwards
To things I cant see
I live in hope
A feeling of freedom
Is there a place there for me
A need I keep
This is how I believe

A painful wave
Eyes I wish to close
Broken up into pieces
Alone in the dark
This is how I sleep

A sadness deepens
Pulling at my chest
Drops witch form a river
Pain unrivalled
This is how I cry

I sit and stare
At misshaped limbs
I pull my arms
Back and forth even when tired
Wheels move me
People try to ignore or guide me
This is how I walk

Voices echo around me
I watch lips move
Lip-reading but not understanding
I look into many eyes
This is how I listen
