"I don't understand what it is you want me to say!"
It was raining outside. She moved a little closer to him. His left arm was laying around her weakly, the weight holding her against him lightly. His eyes were closed, and she gave a content sigh before pecking him softly on the cheek.
"This is nice." She laced his fingers with hers, glancing over to the window. It was still raining. Giving his hand a reassuring squeeze, she laid her head down at his chest.
"Y'know,' A humorless smile spread on her lips as she laid there, listening to his nonexistent heartbeat. 'you could've just said yes."
