Poem about a girl who is bullied and alone~
She comes to school with long dirty hair
Hanging in her face to hide lack of care

Same old ragged outfit each and every day
Never raises her hand or has much to say

The kids all think that she's not very smart
Judging her silence and setting her apart

They call her names and yell mean things
Not caring if hurtful words sting

She goes home each day to a empty place
Her junkie mother's always high off in space

Her father has never been able to be around
Shot and killed he's laid to rest in the ground

Alone in her room is where she stays
The cuts getting deeper day by day

She finally learned how to tie the rope
She has simply given up on any hope

She has placed the rope in the right spot
Gets up on the chair and tightens the knot

One step forward and she finally can see
This is her only way to ever be free
