Tomorrow is another day
Horizons

A brand new start, a brand new day
The futures in our reach
Another part, another play
Once more into the breach
For fear is our captor
When we read the lines too fast
You can’t read the next chapter
Without finishing the last
So those words I leave behind me
Letters trail where I’ve been
The sentence has been spun free
With the paragraphs between
The plot points that have made me
The characters I’ve met
It slips our minds we’re born free
How easy we forget…
I won’t forget the old ways
Those widely treasured parts
With the balance of a new day
Between the old… the new… the start
