WHAT WILL THE FUTURE BRING?

What will the future bring?
Will mankind touch the stars
Will science rule the day
In some bright brave new world
Will logic have full sway

What will the future bring?
Humanities could shine
The arts may take first place
Poetry and music
Might win the human race

What will the future bring?
Will poverty be gone
Will hunger be erased
Can avarice be tamed
And hatred be replaced

What will the future bring?
It's up to us to make
Can we give up our ways
And craft a better world
Or will mankind decay?
