Us against the World


I'm sorry for when I wasn't there
I'm sorry I couldn't help
I'm sorry if you've been scared
I know you went through hell

I'm sorry for all my anxiety
I'm sorry I don't say more
I'm sorry if you need to flee
I hope it's not a bore

I'm sorry if I make you flinch, at the slightest touch
I'm even sorry for being sorry
Because you know I worry so damn much

Though I think most of all
I'm sorry for those people, who have made our heads swirl
For they know and must be frightened
I swear
I always promise

It's us against the world

I love you
