The relatable feelings of sitting bored in class.
College Class Struggles

I sit in class dawdling off,
Wondering is it worth it.
I continue the monotony.
Sitting, staring, but hardly learning.
I listen to perfected, droll lectures
probably no different than the same lecture years ago.
I reminisce of my family, my friends, and the world.
Nearly falling asleep every other minute I remember.
I remember my family dinners.
I remember my parties with friends.
I remember the world full of unexplored avenues.
Then I am drawn back to the fact here I am wasting my time.
Wasting my time on information I could learn online.
Wasting my time on projects that promote obvious values.
Wasting my time on work that no one needs.
I am discontent not upon learning
but rather upon the subpar experience they call "learning".
The time has come and I am dismissed.
I rise, gather my objects, and begin the journey to continue the cycle.
