winter from a snowman's point of view
The moonlight shines on me tonight,
slicing through the dark.
Lights around the house shine bright,
as I stand in the park.

Smoke curls up through a chimney top;
it carries yummy smells.
There's chocolates from the shop
and marshmallows as well.

Bells jingle, jangle, chime, and ring.
There's merry sounds tonight;
While around me, the snow's falling:
a fresh layer of white.

The wind whips and whistles through trees,
rustling branches and leaves.
Outside here, it's zero degrees,
the snow rests on the eaves.

The reindeer clip clop through the snow.
Behind them, drags a sled.
I wonder which way they will go
to visit children still in bed.
