A poem about losing my grandma.
When I got the call
that it was time to say goodbye,
my heart stopped
and I started to cry.

I thought to myself,
"It can't be true,
she's strong,
she'll make it through."

We drove to the hospital
and made it just in time.
I held on to her cold hand
and told her my last goodbye.

The line went flat,
my grandma was gone.
It hurt that I wouldn't see her
until it would be my time to pass on.
