A poem about life
 Empty  (E)
A poem about life
#2067554 by Chris Breva

There is an empty space none can fill
There is a road that is all uphill
There is a loneliness none should bear
There is a frown none should wear.

There is a sickness with no cure
There is a sadness so pure
There is a road none can walk
There is a speech none can talk.

I know these things are so
I know there are places I cannot go
Yet I often wish I could
There are times I think I should.

I miss those who've gone before
I miss those I did adore.
