she had a choice
He thought he didn't deserve her,
and he was probably right
after all he put her through
every day and every night.

She had the choice to leave
and begin a new life,
but she vowed always and forever,
when they became man and wife.

So she swallowed her pride
to make it work,
while slowly inside
she went berserk.

He stopped lying,
but it wasn't enough,
he already damaged her,
he had none of her trust.

She tried to forgive and forget
and move on with their life,
but she was a changed woman,
she didn't want to be his wife.

She packed her bags,
and walked across the floor,
the last memory he had
was her, walking out the door.
