Some ghosts are left behind without the owner even realising
Tomorrow

Alright then, I’ll see you tomorrow
We’ll meet the same place, the same time
All the time I would beg, steal, borrow
Yet repeat every sordid last crime
Each cowardly jaundiced encounter
Every streaked yellow misstep
Each gamble, each nightmare I’d mount or,
… every single last chivalrous bet
With all opportunities wasted
Chances that never were mine
Still I regret what’s not tasted
The flavours I’ve missed over time
But now’s not a time for such sorrow
Though now I will not see your face
Until then I will see you tomorrow
Imagined, same time… same place
