Tired of being called a ''Laadla/Laadli"? Read this.
I somehow feel that being a single child is absolutely not limited to being a 'laadla/laadli' or being reserved. There's more to it.
When you are an only child, you remain unexposed to the ways of handling people. You are completely unaware of the social norms of being in a relationship because you don't have those irritating yet to-die-for siblings to spend your days and nights with or to share your small/big things with. So, whenever a single child decides to be emotionally involved with anything or anyone, it won't be a half-hearted thing. It will forever be, without fail, intense. Because we don't know what limits are, when emotions are concerned. We are either all in or all out. And that, my friend, is a quality you will see in every single child out there.
