A brief account of a small creature with lasting impressions.
In my very palm a dragon now sits

It breathes fire aglow like a matchstick

Across the table it wanders for food

Eating voraciously and is quite rude

Small and old as an ancient stone

In crevasses and holes makes its home

Come now dragon, amazing, terrible!

Tiny but startling the emotionally fearful

Your muscles are fit like iron sinews

Mischief and conniving is within you

Man will grow and one day parish

But endlessly your years will cherish

Yet in your entire splendor you are lonely

Yearning for companions that would only,

Cheer you and live to scheme together

And frolic and frighten humans forever
