What I Want
I Intend to live a long and happy life.
         Pray to God every day,
"Let my love one day be my wife."
Of all the things I do, I am unashamed.
Words left unsaid,Will haunt me every day.

I do not fear wasting time on a false love.
When I see her eyes, I fear only that they might close.
When I hear her voice, I yearn to hold her close.
When I feel her cheek beneath my lips,
I only fear that time will never unfreeze,
I will never see her face.

I intend to live a long and happy life.
It could not matter less without her by my side.
