I moved here 33 years ago.
Home is where your heart is, so I never looked back. Coming from a large network of family members, which are all mostly deceased today, except a few cousins on the coast and a few whom have moved to the Okanagan and one older sister whom still lives on the coast.

My daughter was 17 years old when we moved here. She was going with a fellow whom was into drugs, one of the main reasons, I moved us away. She put up quite a fight and did not want to move away. I reasoned with her, if you still feel you want to live on the coast, after a month, you are free to go back on your own. She never left, fell in love and is now married with a family of her own and lives close by.

I am not a believer of going to church, which both daughter her husband are. I do believe in God, but not going to church, because it is man made.
