Four seasons in one day
Full Circle

Now we’ve come full circle
Now we’ve seen it all
If someone had have warned us
I might have screened the call
But some cries should be answered
Some tears should be shed
You pay, you take your chances
Make your choices… make your bed
You lie your way through morning,
get your best foot in the door
By afternoon it’s dawning,
what you’ve let yourself in for
What seemed a bed of roses
Blood red petals hiding thorns
Guarded right beneath our noses
A scent deceptive warns
Of a day made up of seasons
Time takes its different forms
Such days they have their reasons,
and the evening it warms
Leading on to morning afters
With our twilight yet to fall
Now we’ve come full circle
I’m glad I took the call
