A rumbling free verse I wrote awhile back.
I remember as a child seeing rainbows
Here
There
Everywhere

But as I grew
The rainbows left

Not all at once
But bit
by
Bit
Slowly
They left

Just enough
That I never noticed them leaving

Now, all gone
Like my hope
My love
My life
