1. Life isn't fair.

2. Don't get involved with you neighbours. Say hello, be polite, but don't let them take over your life. Been there, done that.

3. Cherish those that you love, you never know if you’ll see them again

4. Be grateful for this moment, it is all you have.

5. Never hold a grudge, it's bad for your health.

6. Follow your gut, it's telling you something for a reason.

7. Never be too proud to ask for help

8. Take time to enjoy your children. Before you know it, they'll be grown and gone.

9. Accept people as they are.

10. Don't change your beliefs because someone else wants you to.
