frog sings after a storm
Tangled, knotted cobwebs
Dangle between broken branches.

Snails huddle in their shells;
Hail, pounding down, bounces off them.

Blowing winds change the sky,
Slowly pushing stormy clouds out.

Rays of a bashful sun
Graze the throbbing throat of a frog.

He sings a raspy song -
Fearful; puzzled; wholly awestruck.
