A fall into the water.
The Fatal Step

My mind fills with sorrow,
At this heart's beating sound.
There would be no tomorrow,
And it started to pound.

There in the flying snow,
The tears streamed down.
Off the end of my nose,
They fell to the ground.

Climbing up to where no one would go,
There was no smile only a frown.
Underneath me the river would flow,
Moving swiftly from town to town.

Upon my back the wind would blow,
Inside my spirit the fear abound.
Out with the old,
With no one around.

One fatal step and I would know,
Taking the plunge the water surrounds.
There in the freezing cold,
I could not wear my crown.

Inside of the undertow,
The noises were not loud.
It's grasp would only grow,
As I was spun round and round.

There was something I did not know,
Something that I lost was found.
Out of the water I rose.
Before I floated away on a cloud.
