A nightmare I've had
They had slaughtered another one of us and our companion faded amoung shadows. Beginning as monsters, black and formless. Growing enduring legs to hunt us, and strong arms to grab us. Long sharp teeth shaped themselves right before they ripped me to shreds. Just as the light faded from my eyes, I saw it one last time, black and formless as I faded amoung shadows.
