Beautiful Fall
by QPdoll

From the tallest trees of all
the orange and red leaves fall.
Wonderful cycle of life;
I observe them from the wall.

Winds cut through you like a knife
As I walk along loosestrife.
Flannel and boots I will wear
And gaze at the great wildlife.

The smell of Fall in the air.
Walk along without a care
As I step over the stones
And the wind flows through my hair.

As trees sway, I hear them moan
While I stand at the gravestone.
Morning is very quiet
When I venture out alone.
