Children see the world in a great way. I hope I will always have the ability to be five.
I like the little butterfly,
it smells each little flow'r,
I follow it so softly by
for just about an hour.

It's colors are so pretty, bright,
it's tongue so very round,
It floats, for it is very light,
I sit upon the ground.

"Please, Butterfly, come play with me,"
but it will always go.
I run up close to better see,
it flies around in show.

I need to watch it far away,
for sometimes it slows down,
I better squint my eyes today,
so my mouth will not frown.

I like the little butterfly,
so pretty in the air,
I want to touch, I try and try,
but it lands over there.
